Unless stated otherwise, you arrange delivery to our facility and cover associated shipping costs + non-warranty repair fees.​
1. Scope of Repair​
1.1 Warranty-Covered Repairs​
Eligible for watches purchased directly from cleanvswatch.com within the 12-month warranty period. You must provide:​

Clear issue details (e.g., "intermittent movement failure," "loose chain attachment"),​
Watch photos (front, back, affected area) for pre-assessment.​
Warranty covers only manufacturing defects (e.g., faulty movement parts, defective hinges) – not external damage.​
1.2 Non-Warranty Repairs​
For non-warranty damage (e.g., improper storage scratches, unprofessional disassembly issues, unauthorized maintenance wear), cleanvswatch.com charges reasonable fees. Certified vintage watchmakers inspect within 3 business days and provide cost estimates based on labor, part rarity (if needed), and historical complexity.​
1.3 Exclusions from Standard Repairs​
Standard repairs exclude aesthetic enhancements and non-functional part replacements, such as:​
Case refinishing for cosmetic purposes (e.g., removing non-impacting patina),​
Replacing intact but slightly worn decorative engravings/vintage dial details,​
Over-polishing metal components beyond functional restoration.​

2. Repair Quotation​

2.3 Payment Requirement​
Full payment for repairs + applicable return shipping fees must be completed before:​

3. Product Collection​
Once repairs are done, cleanvswatch.com sends a "Collection Notice" via email/WhatsApp, including:​

After-sales address (for collection) or estimated shipping date.​
3.1 Pre-Collection Payment​
Settle all outstanding fees before collection. An itemized invoice is provided for records.​
3.2 Repair Status Confirmation​
With the notice, we share:​
High-res photos/short video of the repaired watch (showing functional tests: winding, time-setting),​
One-page inspection report (e.g., "replaced worn mainspring, cleaned movement gears, tested accuracy").​
Written confirmation of satisfaction is required before releasing the watch. Confirmation = acceptance of condition (no further adjustments).​
4. International Shipping​
4.1 Overseas Delivery Options​
For international customers, we can ship the repaired watch to your address (two options):​

4.4 Replacement Parts Retention​

5. Agreement to Terms​
By submitting a repair request (email/phone/in-person delivery), you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to this policy. It supersedes all prior verbal/written agreements about repairs. Registered customers will be notified via email (provided in your request) of policy updates.​
